For everyone's comfort and to keep the area peaceful, we ask that the hot tub is used responsibly and with consideration for noise levels. Quiet evening use is absolutely fine — we simply ask guests to enjoy it sensibly so the calm of the countryside is preserved for everyone.
A FEW QUICK REMINDERS
- • No glass in or around the hot tub
- • Please keep noise down after 10pm
- • Maximum 6 people at any time
- • Sessions limited to 15-20 minutes
- • No bath bombs, oils or soaps in the water
- • Switch off jets and secure the cover when finished
- • Children under 18 must be supervised at all times
Rules & Safety
- Guests use the hot tub entirely at their own risk. The Doune Estate accepts no responsibility or liability for any accident, injury or illness arising from its use, including but not limited to skin irritation, waterborne illness or chemical exposure.
- Guests with heart conditions, blood pressure concerns, diabetes or other relevant health conditions should consult a doctor before use, and pregnant guests and the elderly should not use the hot tub.
- Alcohol and drugs should not be consumed before or during use, as they increase the risk of drowsiness and fainting.
- Please shower before and after use, and do not introduce bath bombs, soaps or oils, as these damage the filtration system.
- Do not use the hot tub if you have open wounds or an active infection.
- Sessions should be limited to 15–20 minutes, with no more than 6 people in the hot tub at any time.
- Glass of any kind is not permitted in or around the hot tub.
- Children under 6 are not permitted to use the hot tub, and anyone under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Do not use the hot tub during thunderstorms, or if the water temperature exceeds 40°C.
- Always switch off the jets and secure the cover when the hot tub is not in use.
- The hot tub is professionally sanitised before every arrival; if the water appears cloudy, discoloured, or has an unusual odour, please do not use it and contact us immediately so it can be serviced.
