Beyond the Garden: A Gateway to Adventure
Nature lovers will revel in the sheer scale of the trees here—over 25 giants, each around 30 meters tall, including Chestnut, Beech, and Scots Fir. Standing proudly in the front garden is a true marvel: the largest single-trunk Scots Fir in the north of Scotland, boasting a staggering trunk diameter of more than 3 meters.
The experience doesn’t end at the garden gates. From The Doune, a heather-strewn path leads you straight into Daviot Woods, where enchanting forest trails await. A short circuit offers a refreshing 25-minute stroll, while a longer loop takes around an hour. For those with a taste for adventure, these trails even connect all the way to Inverness—a walk to remember.
